about XIV International
festival «Young Voices-2012» in
Nizhny Novgorod city, 26-29 April,
2012
1. Tasks and goals of
the festival:
- Familiarization of young people to the art
heritage of Russian and foreign peoples
- Improvement of masterly performance of choir collectives
- Experience exchange in area of cultural and
humanitarian education
- Extension and strengthening of professional
and cultural connections between creative choir collectives
- Growth of Nizhny Novgorod prestige as the Russian
cultural center
- Choir collectives’ performances,
master-classes of leading choir conductors, creative conductors’ conference and
gala-concert are supposed to be organized in the festival bounds
2. Festival founders
The Festival founders are:

Founders have the right to spread information
about tasks, goals and Festival programme and to advertise their own activity
during the festival events.
Founders form organizing committee and creative
committee of the Festival.

4. Festival partners
Festival partners could be juridical
or natural person who contributed a donation in money or any other form for
festival events organizing.
Informational partner of the Festival is a registered
mass media effecting the Festival and its events media coverage by available
resources with mandatory presentation of basic Festival partners
5. Festival art rules
The next student choirs’ categories have the
right to participate in the festival
-Mixed choirs (training and amateur)
-Male choirs (training and amateur)
-Female choirs (training and amateur)
The festival program of the each choir
performance should not exceed 20 minutes of pure sounding (without entrance to
scene and applause) and should contain minimum 50% of a cappella music.
The program could be selected free, but should
be agreed with the art director of the festival until 15th of March,
2012.
The program for the festival gala-concert should
contain 1 or 2 pieces of a cappella music by duration not more than 7 minutes
in total.
It is needed to provide 5 copies of note scores
of the choir festival program before the performance for the creative
committee. One copy will not be returned.

7. General festival participation conditions
The application form should contain the next
documents :
A.
Detailed filled Application Form (Application form is attached);
B. Brief
biography of the choir and its main conductor;
C.
High-quality pictures of the choir (not older than 2 years ago) and its
conductor, for the festival booklet (min. resolution is
300 dpi if e-mailing data).
The documents shall be sent to atsareg@mera.ru.
The last day of Application form sending to the
festival Organizing committee postal address is 1st of February, 2012.

On the 15th of February, 2012 the
organizing committee will approve the participants list and send the official
invitation for participation.
8. Festival financial
terms
Financing is to be realized basing
on approved by organizing committee budget at the expense of funds provided by
founders, organizational contributions of the Festival participants and also
the Festival partners donations and charitable contributions.
For every choir collective the
organizational contribution is set at the rate of 100 EUR for a choir
collective’s participant (includes accommodation from 12:00 of 26th
of April till 12:00 of 29th of April, meals (3 breakfasts and 3
lunches), coach transfers, souvenirs, halls providing for choir acoustic
rehearsals, entrance tickets to the festival events). It should be transferred
to the “Gaudeamus” foundation’s account until 15th of March, 2012.
