Choral capella of Moscow State Linguistic University «Musica Linguae» (Moscow, Russia)
Choral capella of Moscow State Linguistic University «Musica Linguae» was founded in 2000 based on students and graduates of university, and also students of other institutions. Nowadays the collective has 20 active singers and regularly takes part in the most significant events of the musical life of Moscow and other Russian cities. It participates in university solemn events and has got prizes and become laureates of different national and international competitions and festivals such as Festos (Moscow), Vesna v LETI (Spring in Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University) (Saint Petersburg), Vesnushka (Freckle) (Yaroslavl'), Silver Bells (Daugavpils, Latvia) etc.
Conductor Olga Dubovskaya
Olga Dubovskaya graduated from the Choral Conducting class with professor L. Pavlov of Merzlyakovskiy School at the Moscow Conservatoire named after P. Tchaikovsky and then from the Choral Conducting class with professor V. Sudakov of Russian Music Academy named after Gnesiny. During her students years she formed from linguists students choral collective "Musica Linguae" in MSLU. Young conductor considers continuation and development of the great traditions of amateur choral singing as a main thing in her work.
