Female chamber choir «ANIMA» was founded in 1993 based on teachers and school leavers of one of the oldest children's music schools of Moscow - Children Music School named after V. Muradeli. «ANIMA» performs much and successfully in different concert halls of Moscow, has become repeatedly diploma winners and laureates of Moscow, All-Russian and International festivals and competitions in different Russian cities (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yaroslavl') and abroad. The creative geography of the collective consists of France ("Russian house at Nizza" diploma in 2007), Austria (Silver diploma of World Choir Games in Graz, 2008), Great Britain (concert tour, 2010), Malta (Gold and Silver diplomas at International choral competition «Musica mundi», 2011).



Conductor Irina Ruvinskaya

Irina Ruvinskaya graduated from Music school at Moscow conservatoire named after P. Tchaikovsky specialty "Choir conductor" (class of E. Zvereva), then graduated from conducting and choral department of Russian Music Academy named after Gnesiny (class of L. Andreyeva). Since 1966 she works as a teacher of choral class at Children's Music Schools of Moscow. Since 1984 she works as a teacher at Children's Music School named after V. Muradeli. Irina Ruvinskaya was awarded by "Honored worker of culture of Moscow" title in 2008.
